Our Self-Service Library is open whenever the church office is open.
The library contains periodicals, reference books, fiction and non-fiction, biographies, various Bibles (English and foreign language versions, audio versions, children's versions, and easy-reading versions), children's books and videos (including Veggie Tales, Quigley's Village, and Davey & Goliath), religious-instruction materials, and college-reference materials. Also see our library-display rack in the narthex, because selections there change monthly. Our materials may be borrowed by church members only. If you have any questions regarding the library, please call the church office.

The Library Ministry…
“The purpose of the Library Ministry is to make available for circulation and reference resources that enrich the program of the church, the curriculum of education, the lives of the members and their families, and the mission of the church.”[1] Our aim is to guide, strengthen, inspire, inform and refresh our congregation in its ministries of education, worship, stewardship, evangelism and fellowship.
An arm of the Christian Education Ministry, the library committee meets every Tuesday of the month, with the exception of holidays, to:
· catalogue and process new media;
· shelve returned items;
· “weed” items made obsolete by time;
· display books for circulation in the church narthex and church school rooms;
· develop a comprehensive Picture File;
·order new acquisitions to enhance and support the needs of ministries of
Calvary.
The Library Ministry is chaired by Jill Garnhart. The other members are Evelyn Galbraith and Alda Longenbach.
